Turn Moss Playing Fields

I’ve not done a write-up for a while so here’s a local one to Chorlton, which is a favourite spot for dog walkers. Turn Moss Playing Fields which is just over the road from Longford Park, is a very big field which is handy for playing ball with your pooches as you’ll mostly likely see when you pay a visit there. It is there for football games and will be quite busy on weekend mornings, or when there are organised football games on.

It is actually part of Chorlton Ees Nature Reserve (which I’ll cover very soon) and if you’re out walking your dog through the paths of the Ees you’ll find your dog will be excited to run onto this being a large field for them to let off some steam and have a good run! If you just wanted to walk around all of the field this could take about 40 minutes or so and you could definitely fill an hour of playing chase the ball if you wanted to give your dog some good exercise, or just a good mooch and sniff around.

I was there on Saturday on taking Millie and Henry out and here is a couple of pics:-
