I only discovered Worthington park this week while looking for a different place to walk in Sale. I must have drove past so many times and not realised, it was only when I googled parks in the area that I discovered it!
I went along with Boris and Dexter on Tues 24th June, and then again today (Wed 25th June) with Little Rosie and Freddie. I highly recommend this park if you’re planning on looking for somewhere to take the pooches and/or children out as it’s a lovely looking place and as the website proudly states it has won the Green Flag award for the last 2 years running. You can certainly tell as it is one of the cleanest and well kempt parks I’ve been to.
It has a bowling green, play areas, toilets, quiet areas of grass land and a couple of large open spaces as shown on the map I’ve added below.
Worthington Park is located at the end of Cheltenham Drive in the centre of Sale – postcode M33 2DQ. Other main entrances to the Park are on Broad Road M33 2ES and via Charlton Drive M33 2BJ.
