Feeling hot, hot, hot!

2013-05-07 14.54.55Well after a nice Bank holiday break, it was back with a bang today, with lots of dogs to walk – 12 in total! Tuesday is usually a busy day anyway, so I’m usually prepared but the weather was gloriously hot today the pooches were all hot and bothered in and out of the car! Good job I took plenty of water with me!

I was out the door this morning by 8.15 and back home just after 5pm and in that period I covered Fallowfield, Hulme, Chorlton, Stretford, Old Trafford, Sale, and Northenden in picking the dogs up, and 4 parks – Platt Fields Park, Birchfields Park, Longford Park, and Chorlton Ees. I was definitely in need of a brew (and cold drink) and a good shower after all that. The pooches all had a good time and the difference of when they all get in the car, to when they are all travelling back is noticeable – happy and excited on the way, and flaked out on the way back 🙂  Job well done I’d say!

A BIG welcome to Smokey!

Smokey! Here’s Smokey who joined us today for his first walk!

Smokey is an Old English Sheepdog and as you can see he’s a big lad! I thought as it was his first day I would take him to Sale Water Park, with Fred who lives nearby.  His owners haven’t been here before so it was new grounds to explore.

Smokey is ten years old but doesn’t look it and was very lively out on his walk. Here are a few pics of his adventures which he’ll be enjoying on future walks. 2013-04-24 14.56.502013-04-24 14.54.01
